Barista Precision Scale

For anyone who wants to weigh their coffee and time their shot or pour-over instead of guessing. It's one of the simplest ways to make coffee at home more consistent.

The Barista Precision Scale, made by The Artisan Barista, reads to 0.1g with a 2000g capacity and has a count-up timer built in. It tares, reads in grams or millilitres, and runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The rubber casing is water resistant, and auto shut-off can be switched on or off.

Weighing the coffee going in and the espresso coming out lets you repeat a shot you liked, or change one thing at a time to fix one you didn't.

Will it fit on my drip tray? It measures 130mm by 160mm and stands 30mm high, so check that against your drip tray before ordering.

Do I need a scale if I have the Meraki? Not for espresso. The Meraki has two scales built in that track dose and yield. This scale is still useful for pour-over, AeroPress, or a second machine.

How do I charge it? It runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Charging cable included.
